Missing Vitality points

Find out how to recover any Vitality points that
are missing from your status
We understand how frustrating it can be when your Vitality points are missing. There are a variety of ways you can solve this, with some tips below. Make sure you’re using the latest version of the Vitality Member app. Once you’ve completed any of these steps, allow 48 hours for the points to update.

Choose a device:

There are a variety of ways to make sure your points are added to your status when you have an Apple Watch.

1. Log into the Vitality Member app
2. The app will update and send Apple Health data to Vitality
3. You can update by swiping down the home screen.

You can also check if your Apple Watch is a priority:

1. Open the Apple Health app
2. Tap ‘Summary’
3. Tap ‘Steps’
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap ‘Data sources & access’
5. Ensure Apple Watch is at the top of the list
6. To move it to the top, tap ‘Edit’ and hold and drag to the top
7. Tap ‘Done’.

If this doesn’t work, delete the Vitality app. Then reinstall it and connect Apple Health to Vitality again.

1. Open the Vitality Member app and tap ‘more’ at the bottom of the screen
2. Tap ‘Devices’
3. Tap ‘Apple Health’
4. Allow all categories.
1. Open the Fitbit app
2. Check your activity history to make sure that the app is recording
3. Log into the Fitbit website [LINK www.fitbit.com/uk/login]
4. Make sure that your activity has been sent from the Fitbit app to the website
5. If your activity is missing, sync your data from the app to the website
6. If your activity is showing, visit the Vitality activity tracking page
7. Scroll down to the Fitbit section and click on ‘unlink’
8. Link Fitbit to Vitality again by clicking ‘link’ and follow the onscreen instructions.

If your Fitbit device isn’t recording, go here.
1. Log into the Garmin Connect app
2. Check your activity history to make sure the app is recording your activity
3. Log into the Garmin website
4. Make sure the activity is sent from the Garmin Connect app to the website
5. If your activity is missing, sync your activity data from the app to the website.

If your Garmin device isn’t recording, go here. There needs to be one Vitality connection with Garmin. You can do this with the steps below.

1. Open the Garmin Connect app and tap on ‘Profile & account’
2. Tap ‘account settings’
3. Tap ‘account information’
4. At the bottom of the screen, check there is one ‘Vitality UK permission’
5. Remove the permission on the Garmin website if your points are still missing
6. Visit the Vitality activity tracking page
7. Scroll to the Garmin section and tap on ‘Unlink’
8. Link Garmin to Vitality again by clicking ‘Link’ and follow the on-screen instructions.

Sometimes the Garmin device does not connect with the Garmin Connect app. Turn your Bluetooth off and then on again.
1. Log into the Vitality Member app
2. Click ‘more’ in the bottom right corner
3. Click ‘device’
4. Click ‘Google Fit’ to add as a tracking device.

If this doesn’t work, there’s something else you can do.

1. Delete the Vitality Member app
2. Open your Google Fit app
3. Tap ‘profile’ in the bottom right corner
4. Tap ‘connected apps’
5. Tap ‘Vitality’ and disconnect the profile
6. Re-install the Vitality Member app
7. Tap ‘more’ in the bottom right corner
8. Tap ‘device’
9. Tap ‘Google Fit’ to add the tracking device.

Allow up to 48 hours for points to start uploading.
1. Open the Polar Flow app
2. Check your activity history to ensure it’s recording your activity
3. Log into the Polar Flow website
4. Check your activity has been sent from the app to the website
5. If your activity is missing, sync your activity data
6. If your activity is showing, visit the Vitality activity tracking page
7. Scroll to the Polar section and click on ‘unlink’
8. Link Polar to Vitality by clicking on ‘link’ and follow the onscreen instructions.
